About

We noticed the same pattern in two very different places.

Founding story

Abound began with an observation, not a business plan.

Different organizations. Different missions. The same pattern. Good people were spending too much of their limited attention navigating systems, administration, governance, disconnected tools, and operational complexity.

HOAGuardrail came out of firsthand experience with the burden carried by volunteer HOA leaders: neighbors handling governance, finances, records, and compliance in their spare hours.

Later, work with pregnancy centers revealed the same pattern in a dramatically different environment. People deeply committed to serving others were working around fragmented technology and administrative processes that quietly competed with the person in front of them.

Abound was created around a simple question: what if technology carried more of that burden? People would have more room for the work only they can do. That idea became the foundation of Abound.

We’re a family-founded company, early in our story, building carefully and for the long term.

We don’t ask what software we could sell. We ask who is doing important work, and what is getting in their way.

People before software

We start with who is doing the work, not with what we could sell them.

Craft over speed alone

Software that people depend on daily deserves care in the details.

Honest about where we are

One product in production, one in pilot. We'd rather be specific than impressive.

Stewardship

We treat sensitive information, other people's money, and other people's time as things entrusted to us.

Long-term vision

Built to hold many products.

Abound is the parent company and the brand. It creates and operates software products, and it is designed to become the umbrella for many of them over the next decade and beyond.

The common denominator is not industry. It is people doing worthwhile work whose capacity is being consumed by burdens technology can responsibly carry. Wherever we can reduce that weight while protecting important work, Abound can build.

What are you trying to make room for?

If important work is being buried under unnecessary complexity, we'd like to hear about it.
